Recently we have implemented the NAV to Web integration as a part of the Integration there was a requirment to send e-mail notification when a error is logged into NAV through NAV web services, I tried to use the Standard SMTP e-mail functionality, which uses Microsoft Navision Mail.smtpmessage Automation, but automations do not work through web services and we will receive “Call back functions not allowed” error.
You can create notifications from task pages such as customer cards or sales orders. You can use notifications as reminders, or as a way to send information to other NAV users in your company.
