As you might know, we can use posting periods to specify when users can post to the general ledger. On the General Ledger Setup page, define the period by entering dates in the Allow Posting From and Allow Posting To fields.
If you are using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Version 18 or older, you cannot see item, customer, or vendor templates, making the job of creating a new record more manual. In later versions, after Version 18 however, you can simply search for “Item Template”, “Customer Template”, or “Vendor Template” to find any of those templates

It’s been a while since I last blogged about the ARM templates. Mostly because they just live a life of their own and just works. An average of 20 times a day, some partner somewhere in the work is using https://aka.ms/getbc to create an Azure VM with Business Central running in a container (or one of the other ARM templates) directly from a browser. On top of this are all the partners who are automating the process of creating Azure VMs with a PowerShell script. A few things are changing, but functionality stays the same.

With one click users can generate standardized documents automatically populated with data.
