After my sessions during “conference season”, I promised to blog about my scripts. I decided to do this on small pieces of scripts .. and this one is so useful, though I only realised it was useful until I wanted to do a gimmick during a script. I’m actually using it all the time now :-).

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Scalability: NAV 2009 Classic vs NAV 2013 RTC

Table locked by another user? Sluggish performance? These are just a couple of issues that often make customers think that they have outgrown their Microsoft Dynamics NAV system. After all, that’s the marketing message: Dynamics NAV is for small to medium sized businesses, so it obviously can’t support a large number of users or high transaction volume. I’m here to tell you that’s not always the case.

Tip #36 | Using Mark and MarkedOnly in the Role Tailored Client

I always wanted to blog about myself, but humble as I am I never got around to do that. 😉

But now I have an excuse.

When the Role Tailored Client was introduced in 2009 one of the things that is missing from the UI was the ability to Mark some records and filter on Marked Only records. This is usefull when you want a subset of your data with records that have no common value to filter on.
