Dynamics 365 Business Central: How to find duplicates via AL (Filter for duplicate values)

I was asked an interesting question on LinkedIn yesterday, is there a way to find out duplicates via AL? So in this post I would like to briefly talk about this topic.

First of all, as test data, I use the copy feature on the Item list page to create multiple items with the same Description, and we need to filter for these lines.

Forbidden Knowledge: How To Find Field Values from External Apps in Business Central

I was working on a report in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central recently, and the client wanted the report to show a value from an extension that was not a dependency for my customizations app. Because I am lazy efficient, I did not want to go to the trouble of adding an entire separate app as a dependency just to get a single field onto one report. Adding dependencies is a lot of work and requires future maintenance, and it just wasn’t worth it.

Find and Delete Duplicate Photos with Power Query

I was trying to clean up my hard disk drive on my PC the other day. I use a program called WinDirStat to show me graphically what is taking space (as an aside, this is great software and you can download it here). After running the software I noticed that I had stored photos from my phone in a few different places. Each of the 3 sections below are images from my phone stored in different locations.

Find and Replace Data in Dynamics NAV 2016 with RapidStart
