Much has been written about the virtues of vacations. We all know they give us an opportunity to disconnect from the day-to-day hectic routines of our lives and recharge, re-energize, relax, and renew. The only problem is that nobody ever tells project managers HOW to disconnect. A vacation sounds great in theory, but when you are a busy managing multiple projects the reality is a very different thing.
